The Christian’s call is to embody the way of Jesus by living a life of love, joy, and peace both within ourselves and in our service to the world. This call extends to all facets of our lives, including our workplaces. Far too often, however, the anxieties of the world hinder our capacity to fully live into this call. In particular, anxiety in the workplace interferes with our ability to be fully present and to love those around us (co-workers, supervisors, employees, customers, etc).
As followers of Jesus, we have a unique opportunity to serve our workplaces by bringing the peace of Christ into our daily work. How do we steward this opportunity?
Join Denver Institute for Faith and Work for our final Colorado Conversation of 2022, where we will discuss how to manage anxiety at work. We will hear from Brian Gray, Denver Institute's VP of Formation and 5280 Fellowship Director, and Dr. Jessica Stern, a double board certified Diplomate to the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry, and learn practical tools to bring the “peace that surpasses all understanding” to our work, even when we face the anxieties of the world.
Bring a friend for a great time of discussion and networking!
