Denver Institute travelled to an unlikely venue for its annual dinner, the production floor of Blender Products, an HVAC manufacturer in northeast Denver. Guests heard from DIFW founder Jeff Haanen, Gordon College President Michael Lindsay, and 5280 Fellows Rachel Moran and Banks Benitez as we deepened our understanding of how work makes the world. The event also recognized Karla Nugent, founder of Weifield Group Contracting, with this year’s Tree of Life Award, which honors organizational leaders who faith and work shapes our community.
