Denver Institute Fall Event Schedule

Thursday, September 17 – “The Politics of Neighborly Love: Christian Citizenship in a Divided Age”
Join lawyer and AND Campaign founder, Justin Giboney and a bi-partisan panel of local politicians for a thoughtful conversation about politics and public engagement. How do we distinguish our identity as Christians from a party affiliation?  How can we promote biblical values and social justice through our vote? (Tickets on sale July 17.)

Saturday, October 24 – Women, Work & Calling 2020 / “Change Makers: A Gathering for Women Shaping Their Workplace, Community, and the World”
Scripture positions women as vital players in God’s grand story of redemption, but at times, it can be difficult to translate that portrayal to modern life. We struggle to make our voices heard as leaders, feel torn between various roles, or hunger to connect with women who share similar ambitions. Join 200 women from across the region, keynote speaker Bethany Jenkins (VP, Veritas Forum and Senior Fellow, King’s College), and corporate and organizational leaders from across the country for an inspiring, equipping day. (Tickets on sale August 15.)

Monday, November 9 – Annual Pastors’ Gathering“A Morning with Rich Villodas”
Rich Villodas is the Brooklyn-born pastor of New Life Fellowship, a large, multiracial church with more than seventy-three countries represented in Elmhurst, Queens. His recent book The Deeply Formed Life explores 5 values every Christian needs to find balance, focus, and meaning in today’s world. Recharge your heart and mind with pastors from across metro Denver at this half-day event. (Tickets on sale September 9.)
