Join the Denver Institute Book Club

In our hyper-connected workplaces with our busy schedules, many of us struggle to find the time and the space to consider how our faith and our work intersect. We long for community and value ideas, but we often lack a clear way to put those ideas into action.

We know the feeling. After all, Denver Institute for Faith & Work started to help Christ followers understand what the gospel has to say about our daily work. That's why we're excited to launch a new online book club.

Through simple study guides, reflection questions, and access to a private, online book club group, we'll explore what it means to love our neighbors through our work while connecting with like-minded believers.

February's Book Club Selection: Every Good Endeavor

Our first book club selection is Every Good Endeavor, written by Tim Keller and Katherine Leary Alsdorf. As one of the foundational books on faith and work, Every Good Endeavor shows readers that biblical wisdom is immensely relevant to our questions about work today. In fact, the Christian view of work—that we work to serve others, not ourselves—can provide the foundation of a thriving professional and balanced personal life.

Book Club Activities

This February, we'll explore Every Good Endeavor through:

  • Three study guide emails with questions for reflection (emailed on February 7th, 14th, and 21st);
  • Access to our private online discussion group for connection and encouragement; and
  • A wrap-up webinar at the end of the month.
