Life-Giving Purpose

Brian Gray

Candice Whitley has always loved working with kids, and she felt her passion deepen as she pursued multiple degrees in education.

As she navigated the field of teaching and discovered her strengths in serving students, she felt a strong desire to learn about the greater purposes of work, and God’s vision for that sphere of life. She was looking for a community of fellow believers with whom to talk about the application of the Christian faith in daily work across industries.

That’s where the 5280 Fellowship came in.

“The fellowship definitely provided an opportunity for me to meet with other people and engage in conversations that are life-giving about the purposes of our work.”

Hear more of her story as a fellow in the 2016-2017 session:

Do you feel challenged to connect your deepening faith to the work you do Monday through Friday? Do you know a young professional looking to dig into this topic alongside other Christians?
