Jeff Haanen

CEO & Executive Director

Jeff Haanen is the Founder of Denver Institute for Faith & Work and the 5280 Fellowship. He contributes to various magazines and publications, including Christianity Today. Jeff lives with his wife and four daughters in Denver, Colorado.

Brian Gray

COO & Director of the 5280 Fellowship

Brian is the COO here at DIFW and also leads our 5280 Fellowship program.  Prior to landing at DIFW, he served in pastoral ministry for thirteen years and at Denver Seminary for four years. His vocation includes moving ideas out into life through relationships and conversation – whether that applies to God, work, the Church, good beer, or Liverpool Football Club. He married way out of his league, and spends most of his free-time being parented by his two daughters.

Joanna Meyer

Director of Events & Sponsorships

Joanna serves as Denver Institute’s Director of Events & Sponsorships and oversees the Women & Vocation Initiative. Prior to coming to the Institute, Joanna worked in global telecom, nonprofit consulting, and campus ministry with Cru. She served as associate faculty at Denver Seminary and as a sewing instructor at Fancy Tiger Crafts. A third-generation Coloradan, Joanna appreciates both the state’s innovative culture and its cowboy roots. She has an MA in Social Entrepreneurship from Bakke Graduate University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Dustin Moody

Director of Communications

Dustin oversees the marketing, publications, social media, podcast, and website as the director of communications for the Denver Institute of Faith & Work. He has previously served with the University of Colorado Boulder and Wycliffe Bible Translators. He holds an M.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida. Dustin also serves on the board of the Colorado chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He and his wife, Laura, attend Storyline Fellowship in Arvada.

Olivia Duncan

Development Associate & 5280 Fellowship Coordinator

Olivia serves as Denver Institute’s development associate and 5280 Fellowship coordinator. Prior to joining DIFW, Olivia worked in technology sales, event planning, and nonprofit ministry. After living abroad in Italy, Olivia has a deep appreciation for a large scoop of gelato, a nice glass of Chianti, and experiencing other cultures. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University, holding a BBA in Marketing from the Neeley School of Business, and is pursuing her MA in Christian Formation & Soul Care from Denver Seminary.

Drew Yancey

Vice President, Leadership Partners

As a dually engaged theologian and business advisor, Drew straddles the worlds of faith and work. Alongside his role as VP of Leadership Partners, he is a business advisor helping clients solve challenging problems at the nexus of risk, strategy, and innovation. He has more than a decade of strategy consulting and executive leadership experience across multiple industries. His career started in the food industry, where he was the Director of Strategy for a top 50 foodservice distributor, helping lead the company through its acquisition by a top five distributor. He then became CEO and led the turnaround of a produce merchandising and distribution company. After that, he was a consultant at Clareo, helping Fortune 500 clients create new growth paths. Drew has a master of divinity degree from Denver Seminary, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and a PhD in religion from the University of Birmingham (UK). He is an adjunct professor of theology at Denver Seminary and author of the forthcoming book, Transforming Enterprise. Drew is an avid traveler (having visited nearly 40 countries) and proud fifth-generation northern Coloradoan where he lives with amazing wife and three kids.

Ryan Tafilowski


Ryan serves as theologian-in-residence for Denver Institute for Faith & Work, where he writes and teaches on the integration of faith and work. Alongside his work with Denver Institute, Ryan is an instructor in the Division of Christian Thought at Denver Seminary, where he teaches theology and the history of Christianity, and associate pastor at Foothills Fellowship Church in Littleton. He holds a Th.M. in ecclesiastical history and a Ph.D. in theology from the University of Edinburgh. He has published in the areas of inter-religious dialogue, historical theology, and Christian ethics. Ryan lives with his wife, Adrienne, and their daughter in Lakewood. Most importantly, Ryan is a diehard fan of the Denver Nuggets—and he liked them even when they were terrible.

Hunter Beaumont

Fellowship Denver Church

Hunter Beaumont (board chair) is co-founder and lead pastor of Fellowship Denver Church. he also serves on the board of Acts 29, a national church planting network. Hunter is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary.

Jill Anschutz

Independent Consultant

Convinced that “those who tell stories rule society” (Socrates), Jill logged 10 years of experience in influencing public opinion and perception through strategic communications. While serving as a principal at SE2, a Denver-based communications agency, Jill discovered the joy of integrating the Christian faith with her day-to-day work in the marketplace. In her current work as a freelance consultant, she now tells stories about Denverites bringing the gospel to bear in diverse industries.

Jill is a graduate of Taylor University, an alumna of the Impact Denver leadership program, a deacon at Fellowship Denver Church, and a Kentucky Colonel — an honorary commission given by the state of Kentucky to “individuals noted for their public service and their work for the advancement of Kentucky.” 

Adam Hasemeyer

Spire Digital

Adam Hasemeyer is the president of Spire Digital, a Denver-based digital product development firm that transforms business through design and technology. He is responsible for leading the acquisition and management of all client relationships at Spire Digital. Adam is passionate about bringing people together to deliver great results for his clients and volunteer organizations. He studied at Miami University and currently serves on the board of Pledge 1% Colorado.

Jeanne Oh Kim

Children's Hospital of Colorado

Jeanne Oh Kim (AKA Jeanne Oh, M.D.) is a mother of four amazing boys and has been given the job to raise Godly men. She is a pediatrician who loves to bring the healing ministry of Christ into her work at home and the office. She went into pediatrics because she loves children but is learning about the complexity of healing and the importance of co-laboring with the Trinity to bring the Kingdom reality into all aspects of life. Jeanne worked in private practice in Chicago before joining Advanced Pediatrics in Colorado in 2005. She retired from Advanced Pediatrics in 2019 and is now working for Children’s Hospital Colorado as a Locum Tenens pediatrician. She also feels a calling to redeem the greater family of God through international medical missions and recently served in Juarez, Mexico. She is married to her life partner, Jack Kim, founder of KORE (Kingdom Oriented Real Estate) Investments.

Bob Larkin

Bank of America

Bob Larkin is Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America. He has been in Commercial Banking positions since January of 2006 and has held senior leadership roles at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase’s Commercial Bank. He studied at Florida State University and attends St. Patrick’s Presbyterian Church (EPC).

Matt Turner

MorningStar Senior Living

Matt Turner is managing partner at MorningStar Senior Living. He is passionate about serving seniors and underprivileged populations around the world. He has overseen the growth of the MorningStar portfolio to over 3,000 units in more than 25 properties throughout the U.S. Matt lives in Denver and attends Fellowship Denver Church.

Darius Wise

Red Rocks Credit Union

Leading at the highest organizational and leadership levels, Darius has a deep passion for both the marketplace and the local church. He serves as the Executive Vice President & COO at Red Rocks Credit Union and has served the local church in a pastoral role for the past 19 years. Deemed by his peers, a “Leader of Leaders,” Darius has over 15 years of executive leadership experience and excels in all aspects of organizational & people leadership. He has a track record of building healthy cultures, driving results, leading through change, maximizing both people and processes, and managing diverse leadership teams toward success. He has also served several non-profit organizations as a member of their Board of Directors. Darius received his bachelor’s degree from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA and pursued Theological Studies at Denver Seminary. Darius is a sought-out communicator and consultant around the country. In his spare time, Darius enjoys reading, biking, running, and ultra-competitive family cornhole tournaments. He lives in Aurora, CO with his wife, Chajay and their four children - Chelsey, Daniel, Darius III & Chloey.
